By selecting the option ‘I have read and agreed to the Terms and Conditions’ or affixing a signature on the physical copy of the PDF document, the act of booking the service dates, submitting the Patient Intake form, and making payment for the program establishes a legally enforceable agreement between the Program Provider and the Participant. It is necessary for the Participant to both agree to the terms and conditions and make full payment prior to their arrival. The Participant is not obligated to sign the original version of this agreement upon arrival. To be eligible for enrollment and active participation in the Program, it is a requirement for the Participant to be at least eighteen (18) years old. Individuals who have not yet reached the age of 18 are ineligible to partake in the Program. In the event that The Athens Passages, The DBA, or the website becomes aware that the Participant is below the age of 18 or has not reached the age of majority, the Participant’s account will be terminated and any outstanding funds will be forfeited as a form of partial compensation for the breach of the terms and conditions outlined in the Agreement.

The Agreement and its terms will be fully effective from the date accepted by the Participant and will continue until the end of the Program or until terminated by either party before completion. The participant acknowledges the Program Provider’s authority to terminate this agreement and the Program at any time, with or without justifiable grounds.

The Program strictly adheres to a policy of zero tolerance for any unlawful activities committed by the Participant, in accordance with both local Greek legislation and European Union laws. Moreover, in the event that a Participant engages in any sort of illegal activity, the Program Provider reserves the authority to terminate the Agreement. Furthermore, the program provider reserves the authority to terminate the agreement if the participant violates any rules and regulations. Examples of such violations include engaging in improper behavior, using or abusing substances and drugs without a valid prescription from a medical professional, leaving the program premises without notifying staff members in advance, displaying aggression towards individuals, animals, or property, engaging in verbal abuse or using inappropriate language, causing damage or destruction to property, attempting or threatening suicide, inflicting self-harm, engaging in aggressive behavior towards others, failing to comply with program instructions, or engaging in any activities that are deemed illegal according to Greek and European laws. The participant’s account will be terminated and any outstanding funds will be forfeited as a form of partial compensation for the violation(s) of the terms and conditions outlined in the Agreement.

The program provider possesses the authority to do body searches at any given moment for the purpose of ascertaining if the participant is in possession of any non-prescribed or illicit substances, as well as forbidden items such as firearms or restricted technological devices.

What components are encompassed within the sober living house experience program?

The cost of the Program includes all essential materials for all classes, as well as breakfast, lunch, supper, snacks, and beverages provided throughout the duration of the Program. The consumption of alcoholic beverages is prohibited within the Program, unless expressly permitted by medical professionals. The individuals residing in sober-living residences make a commitment to refrain from engaging in the consumption of substances, as they concurrently engage in outpatient programming or other necessary activities. The curriculum for each participant is customized to their individual case and requirements, resulting in varying time frames depending on the unique program. The program has several other components, namely accommodation, food and beverage provisions, medical assistance, local medical supervision during the detoxification process (with the exception of post-detoxification medicine, which incurs an additional expense), and transportation services to the various program sites. The cost of airfare is not included.

It is required that third-party activity providers possess liability insurance that provides coverage for activities conducted within their physical facilities. The applicability of these Terms and Conditions is limited to Greek law, and any disputes arising from them will be resolved through arbitration or legal processes in accordance with Greek law.

It is strongly recommended that all individuals participating in the program obtain personal insurance that provides coverage for their trip and extended period of residence in a foreign country, in order to mitigate potential risks and ensure adequate protection throughout their time away from their home country. The utilization of electronic gadgets
The utilization of electronic devices, including but not limited to mobile phones, laptops, personal computers, sound recorders, video cameras, and other similar devices, is absolutely prohibited during program activities. This measure is implemented to ensure the safety and privacy of all individuals involved in the program. PAYMENT & REFUNDS

Full payment must be submitted at the time of booking for Athena & all satellite island programs.

Once client commits to the program and submits payment via wire or bank transfer there are no refunds for any reason as per the terms and conditions of the onboarding process. All reservations for Athena & satellite island programs are considered Non-Refundable. Early termination or discharge for rule violation will receive no refunds. Early discharge will be considered ACA or Against Corporate Advice and will not receive a refund. Any private programs set in a custom residential settings will NOT receive refunds under any circumstances. This is due to the fact that all of our services are paid for in advance to the client arriving and the sensitive nature of our industry leads to abrupt cancellation requests. At the rental housing staffs discretion verbal cancellation requests may not be honored until an internal board review determines the legitimacy of the request. In these case(s) the housing structures rental duration; whether private or shared will complete the reservations time period so the client can join at any time if they decide to join at a later date. In the event that client is unable to join program on initially agreed check in date due to an illness or hospitalization the ATHENA Passages board will review proof of illness and determine a full credit towards a future rehab program minus lost expenses. A new admission date will be scheduled up to 30 days after the original check in date. After 30 days the credit is no longer valid and client must re-apply for the program. In addition, any VIP luxury treatment programs’ pricing is subject to change based on season and availability.

Program provider cancellations
In the event that it becomes necessary for us to cancel your program prior to its commencement, a partial refund will be issued, deducting incurred expenses, with the maximum refund amount not exceeding 50%. In the event of cancellation, regardless of the cause, our liability will be restricted to the reimbursement of costs associated with the Program. All reservations are deemed to be binding, and any charges incurred are non-refundable in accordance with the specified restrictions. It is advisable to acquire appropriate holiday insurance either from our third-party supplier or from a provider of your own preference. The Program may be subject to minor alterations without prior notification, as we retain the right to make such modifications.

Smoking
Smoking within the confines of the Athens Passages Luxury premises or any other external premises is strictly prohibited, with the aim of ensuring the well-being and satisfaction of all those enrolled in the Program.

The topic of interest pertains to group bookings.
A reduced rate is offered for reservations made by groups consisting of three or more individuals. The responsibility of making the booking lies with a designated individual who will assume the role of the group leader or legal representative, overseeing all necessary arrangements. Each participant will be required to provide individual consent to this agreement.

The Sober Living Housing & Research Group NP DBA Athena Passages program accepts individuals of all races, colors, and national and ethnic origins, providing them with equal rights, privileges, and access to the program’s activities. The Sober Living Housing & Research Group NP DBA Athena Passages departure program bears no liability for any physical injuries or legal violations incurred by participants or their guests.

The present Agreement will be subject to the laws of Greece (EU-European Community) and will be interpreted in line with said laws, without taking into consideration conflicts of law considerations. The relevant court located in Greece shall have exclusive and exclusive authority and venue for any action or proceeding arising out of or relating to this Agreement. The participant hereby consents to the jurisdiction and venue of the aforementioned courts. The Participant hereby provides consent to the serve of process in any legal procedure.

This Agreement represents the complete agreement between the parties involved. By electronically signing up on the reservations/admissions page of Athens Passages, DBA and providing the Program Provider with all necessary information to enroll as a Participant, the Participant acknowledges that they have read and consented to all the Terms and Conditions, commitments, guarantees, responsibilities, and obligations outlined in the aforementioned Agreement, and agrees to be legally bound by its terms.

The Participant recognizes and comprehends that any violation of these provisions grants the Program Provider the authority to withdraw the Participant’s status without prior notification, terminate the Participant’s program, and forfeit all outstanding payments as partial compensation for the breach(es) of the Terms and Services outlined in the Agreement.

The Program Facilitator mandates that all Program Participants must fulfill the requisite admission form and subsequently submit it to the Provider for evaluation and approval. The Program Provider reserves the authority to decline the aforementioned application at any given moment and without prior notification. Failure to respond to a program participant’s inquiry may result in a delay in processing, an excessive number of inquiries, or a rejection of their application to the program.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Participent hereby relinquishes, exonerates, and indemnifies the Facilitator, along with its employees, representatives, heirs, assigns, and/or agents (“Released Parties”), from any and all legal actions, assertions, legal proceedings, requests, and/or occurrences related to medical complications, physical harm, fatality, and/or property harm to any individual or entity, including derivative claims of any nature for distress, suffering, diminished ability, loss of income, and/or loss of companionship (“Claims”), which are in any way linked to or associated with the Services provided by the Facilitator.

Moreover, within the boundaries permitted by applicable legislation, the Patient is obligated to provide legal defense and compensation to the Released Parties for any and all Claims.

The parties involved hereby agree to mutually waive, release, and relinquish all claims or demands for consequential, special, punitive, incidental, and/or indirect damages of any nature, irrespective of the factual basis or legal theory upon which such claims or demands may arise.

The Athens Passages DBA program operates throughout the entire year. The program typically spans approximately one month, operating from Monday to Friday. It encompasses a range of classes focused on educational rehabilitation and post-rehabilitation. These classes consist of detoxification services provided by a reputable referral clinic, as well as personal and group therapy sessions, nutrition education, physical activities, and other educational courses. The conclusive program will be distributed to the participants upon their arrival.
